If an output file from a
software is available (Melanie, Kepler, Progenesis, IM2D,
Sequest, Mascot) then this
file can be uploaded using specific PROTICdb forms.
For other data (plant, plant
sample, protein sample, 2D electrophoresis
experiment) that need to be
imputed manually, the user can choose between filling
a single Excel file or
filling several corresponding web forms.
Data must be loaded in an
experiment which is included in a project. Inside an
experiment two plants with
the same name are not allowed. Two gels cannot
have the same name even in
different experiments or projects (gel name must be
unique).
